It comes up out of the darkness of the murky mud to open to the light of day in graceful beauty. It grows a long distance to find the light. Flowers, of course, don’t have self-worth. They just grow. And this is the lesson of the Water Lily. Just grow in love and kindness by being kind to yourself first and letting that self-love radiate out to others.
